Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Prof. Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, the activities of the swimming fundamentals training course continued on the morning of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the gardens of the swimming pool located in Baghdida / Al-Hamdaniya District Center.
The course is organized by the Student Activities Department, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences and the Center for Continuing Education.
The second day of the course witnessed enthusiastic participation from the trainee students, who practiced practical exercises on floating techniques, proper breathing, and coordination of hand and leg movements under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Stefan Jajo Karsh, the course trainer.
The course, which continues until Thursday, aims to equip participants with scientifically grounded and practically applicable swimming skills and fundamentals, in line with the university’s commitment to encouraging students to engage in water sports as a means of recreation and physical well-being.
