The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Al-Hamdaniya marked a distinguished participation as part of the University of Al-Hamdaniya’s delegation, headed by Prof. Dr. Nash’at Mubarak Sliwa, in the 2nd Iraq Higher Education Conference, held in the capital, Baghdad, with wide participation from local and international universities and academic institutions, under the slogan:
“From Achievement to Leadership… Education Towards the Future.”
Representing the college at this major scientific event were:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Akab Hamoka, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahlam Dara, Director of the Continuing Education Center
Both participated in the conference sessions and scientific dialogues that explored ways to develop higher education and strengthen academic cooperation between Iraqi and international universities.
This participation reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic presence, expand its openness to educational institutions, and keep pace with scientific developments in line with the university’s orientation towards leadership and excellence in higher education.
