The University of Al-Hamdaniya received an academic delegation from Hakim Sabzevari University, Iran, to organize joint workshops and scientific seminars as part of activating twinning and cooperation programs between the two institutions, and to explore ways to develop educational and research partnerships.
The University President, Prof. Dr Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, emphasized that these activities reflect the university’s strategy to strengthen international relations, develop strategic plans that contribute to advancing academic and research standards, and confidently participate in global rankings. He also highlighted the importance of activating previously signed memoranda of understanding and benefiting from the exchanged experiences between the two parties in the fields of scientific research and educational capacity development.
Assistant Professor Dr. Rabee Hazim Salman, Vice Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, participated in the meeting to discuss the agreement’s implementation pathways. The two sides explored mechanisms for executing joint programs and developing scientific activities, aiming to enhance the quality of education and training in sports-related disciplines.
This visit is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the university to deepen international academic cooperation and expand partnerships that support institutional development and the advancement of educational and research services.
