The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences concluded, on the morning of December 7, 2025, the Table Tennis Championship for male and female students of the college, organized by the Student Activities Division as part of its annual plan aimed at promoting sports activities and encouraging students’ active participation in university events.
The championship witnessed distinguished competitions among the participating students, with the final rounds characterized by high sportsmanship and skilled performance, reflecting the level of preparation and training of the competitors. The organization of the championship came within the college’s efforts to provide a supportive sporting environment that contributes to the development of students’ physical and mental skills, while reinforcing the principles of positive competition and teamwork.
The championship concluded with the honoring of the winners by the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, in the presence and participation of the Assistant Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Rabee Hazem Salman, where the President of the University presented the championship trophy in recognition of the students’ efforts and excellence in the competition. The President of the University and the Dean of the College also commended the significant role of sports activities in shaping students’ personalities, developing their skills, and enhancing the spirit of initiative and belonging within the university community.
