Within the framework of the ministerial program aimed at developing scientific research skills among postgraduate students, Dr. Mahmoud Abdul-Aali Saleh, Lecturer at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, presented a specialized workshop entitled “Ethics of Scientific Research.”

The workshop was conducted via the Google Meet platform and addressed key themes related to the ethical foundations of scientific research, with particular emphasis on the principles of integrity, transparency, and objectivity, as well as mechanisms for maintaining researcher honesty and the reliability of research outcomes. The presenter also reviewed the most important guidelines concerning the protection of participants’ rights, ensuring the confidentiality of information, and adherence to recognized academic standards within research institutions.

In addition, the workshop discussed major ethical challenges that researchers may encounter during the various stages of research preparation, providing practical examples and applied guidance to help students avoid research misconduct and promote a culture of responsible scientific practice.

The workshop concluded with an open discussion that allowed students to raise their questions, during which Dr. Mahmoud Abdul-Aali Saleh emphasized the importance of adhering to research ethics as a fundamental pillar for enhancing the quality and credibility of scientific outputs.
