The workshop, entitled “Digital Citizenship: Your Rights and Responsibilities on the Internet,” was held on Tuesday, 16/12/2025, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Helen Wahid Fakhri, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the college. It addressed the concept and dimensions of digital citizenship, highlighting individuals’ rights and responsibilities in the digital space, as well as the importance of safe and responsible use of the Internet and social media platforms.

The workshop aimed to enhance students’ digital awareness, reinforce the principles of ethical and legal conduct in the online environment, and familiarize participants with digital risks and preventive measures, thereby contributing to the development of informed digital citizens capable of engaging positively and responsibly with modern technologies.

This workshop is part of a series of awareness-raising activities organized by the Human Rights Unit, as part of its efforts to promote a culture of rights and respond to contemporary challenges in the digital domain.
