As part of the scientific activity plan for the 2025–2026 academic year, the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences – University of Hamdaniya, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop on Sunday, September 28, 2025, entitled:
“Safety Factors and the Role of the Coach in Reducing Sports Injuries.”
🎓 The workshop was delivered by:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Matar Baqir
- Lecturer Mohammed Laith Mohammed
The workshop was attended by a group of faculty members, administrative staff, and students. The sessions addressed key topics related to safety procedures and the coach’s role in preventing injuries during training and competitions, thereby contributing to the promotion of a safe sports environment.
