In line with the commitment to supporting the role of women in academia and encouraging their participation in leadership positions within the university, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Al-Hamdaniya, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop entitled:
“Leadership Skills for University Women.”
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Aya Nawfal Daham, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit. It addressed key leadership concepts, decision-making strategies, confidence-building in the university work environment, and essential skills that contribute to empowering women within academic institutions.
The workshop witnessed distinguished attendance and active engagement from female staff members and included meaningful discussions on the challenges faced by women in educational institutions, as well as ways to develop a supportive and encouraging environment that fosters women’s empowerment.
