Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Akkab Marai presented the workshop, which was part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing the research capabilities of postgraduate students.
During the workshop, which was held via the Google Meet platform, Dr. Riyadh delivered a methodological presentation addressing the foundations for constructing the theoretical framework as the core intellectual structure of scientific research. He explained how to select and organize concepts related to the study topic in a manner that serves the research problem and objectives.
The presenter also reviewed established scientific methods for collecting and analyzing previous studies and demonstrated how they can be employed to support the scientific background of the research and formulate its hypotheses. In addition, he highlighted the most widely accepted documentation methods and discussed ways to avoid common errors encountered by researchers when writing this section.
The workshop witnessed active participation from students, who raised a number of questions regarding approaches to writing the theoretical framework and formulating the literature review. Dr. Riyadh provided comprehensive clarifications that contributed to deepening their understanding of the concepts presented.
