This workshop was part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at developing both theoretical and practical aspects in the field of sports sciences.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Natiq Shahab Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Inas Nabil Hussein. The sessions covered the importance of sports warm-up in preparing the body’s functional systems for physical performance, its role in enhancing athletic efficiency, and reducing the risk of injuries. The presenters also reviewed the scientific foundations of warm-up, its various types, and methods of application according to the requirements of different sports activities.
