As part of the scientific activities dedicated to postgraduate students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, a scientific lecture entitled “The Concept of Curriculum: Its Types, Status, and Historical and Contemporary Development” was delivered by Master’s student Mohammed Khalid Ahmed on Sunday, 1/2/2026.
The lecture addressed the concept of curriculum in terms of its definition and dimensions, its various types, and its importance in the educational process. It also reviewed the stages of its historical development up to contemporary trends in curriculum design, highlighting its central role in the planning and development of modern educational programs.
The lecture was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahlam Dara Aziz, as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to support scientific and academic activities that contribute to enhancing the academic and research standards of postgraduate students and strengthening their knowledge and scholarly capacities.
