It is a division affiliated with the Office of the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Vision:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Hamdaniya University seeks to provide psychological and social support, counseling services, and educational guidance to all students at the college. It also seeks to help develop and enhance the educational and pedagogical environment to achieve the highest levels of excellence for students, and to assist them in dealing with the challenges they face.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">The message:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">The mission of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Hamdaniya University is to plan and follow up on how to provide appropriate mechanisms to provide psychological support, guidance and educational guidance to all students in the college with the aim of promoting mental health, and helping in providing the best solutions from several alternatives presented to students who face a problem, and trying to guide the student in order to develop their educational and personal skills, and direct them towards how to make the appropriate decision for them that meets their needs, in addition to preparing new students in the college and providing suitable study conditions and trying to integrate them into the university community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Objectives:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Developing the annual plan for psychological counseling and educational guidance for the college and providing sufficient space for implementing its programs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Clarifying the rights and duties required of the student, the necessity of respecting the university campus, and the student\u2019s relationship with his professors, colleagues, and college members.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Providing specialized psychological counseling services to male and female students to help them deal with the psychological and emotional challenges they may face during their studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">It works to enhance and develop the educational, physical and psychological aspects and to create the appropriate conditions and atmosphere for the student on campus.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Holding workshops, seminars, and awareness and educational courses in the fields of sports, psychology, science, society, and culture, which aim to enhance students\u2019 thinking.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Helping new students quickly and easily adapt and integrate into the university&#8217;s educational environment by introducing them to the unit&#8217;s services and meeting their needs in coordination with Student Affairs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Diagnose students who suffer from health or psychological problems and inform the college and teaching staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Communicate with students, listen to their academic problems and difficulties, and find ways to solve them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Involving students in activities and events organized by the unit and encouraging them to participate in volunteer work.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Follow up on students who are struggling academically, identify the reasons behind this, and find appropriate solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Helping students deal with their psychological, social, and behavioral problems appropriately, and working to develop students&#8217; personal skills and abilities to achieve the best results.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Helping students understand their physical and social environment, including its potential and shortcomings, and benefit from their own potential and the potential available to them in their environment, to set realistic goals for their education and plan properly to achieve these goals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Developing students&#8217;
