The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences participated in the Fourth International English Language Conference, jointly organized by Al-Hamdaniya University and Al-Noor University, under the title “Modern Perspectives in Applied Linguistics.” This participation comes within the framework of strengthening joint scientific cooperation between the two universities.

The conference commenced on Sunday with wide attendance from researchers and academics representing Iraqi and international universities, reflecting the conference’s academic standing and its importance in supporting scientific research and advancing linguistic and applied linguistics studies.

The conference was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, who emphasized in his opening speech the significance of this academic event and its role in supporting scholarly research, developing linguistic studies, and keeping pace with contemporary developments in applied linguistics.

The conference activities were attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rabee Hazim Salman, representing the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in addition to an official opening session and four scientific sessions dedicated to presenting and discussing research papers.
